Listening, informing, counseling and giving legal aid to women victims of violence.

Creation:
 The centre was created by the Democratic Association of Women of Morocco, in October 1997.

Mission: Fight against all forms of gender-based violence.

Objectives:
 Promote the setting up of mechanisms and institutional procedures to protect women victims of violence.
 Offer legal support, accompaniment and counseling to women victims of violence.
 Reinforce the capacities of women victims of violence.
 Lead women to make their rights prevail and increase awareness of equality culture.
 Secure legal protection for women victims of violence.

Means:
 Reception, listening, counseling and legal aid in favor of women victims of violence.
 Formation workshops in favor of beneficiaries of the Nejma centre services;
 Public displays and campaigns in order to increase women’s awareness of their rights.
 Publication of reports about gender-based violence.
